| Posted: | | | | In my eyes she is credited twice within the end credits... list her twice in profile. It is accurate and it is within the rules.
As for it being useless information... there is a whole lot of info in the profiles I see as useless... don't mean everyone does.
One thing I would do is put the actual credits in the notes so the ones that wish to can take advantage of custom credits. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Is the custom credit uploaded to the online database? If not there is no point in having her listed twice with exactly the same crew credit. It is my understanding that custom crew roles were implemented for the local database only. This kind of stuff should be kept local. | | | Hal |

| Posted: | | | | Th credit is correct per the rules... In my eyes that alone is enough reason that it should be added in the online database.
But hey... that is just my honest opinion on the matter. | | | Pete |

It's useless in the on-line database, because the credit is exactly the same for both entries since the custom roles are not uploaded to the on-line database. | | | Hal |

Again, useless for you, that doesn't make it useless for everybody. I can actually think of a reason why I might be quite useful. For people that care about make-up credits, a double entry might make them wonder why and lead them to look at the credits allowing them to add that custom data to their profile. With a single entry, they wouldn't know to look. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. And since that would probably be the overwhelming majority of users, I'd prefer to keep it as one single credit. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | Since the rule has as contributable crew role "Makeup for [Cast Name]" they are both valid credits. Whether they show up as the same crew credit in the profile/database is the limitation of the program. All of the thoughts, preferences, wants and votes of those against adding the credit is mute. It is the same as a person who does the Visual Effects and Special Effects for a film. The credit shows the same in the profile. |
