Skip Why are you always sarcastic and arrogant ? People have right to have an opinion and manage their own database as they want. I feel as gardibolt, and there is long time since I have top actors at the beginning of my profiles. I'm just happy that you are not behind my back barking your certitudes ... | Posted: | | | | What the hell is wrong with you people? You got the option to do what you want in your own data base, you got the option to contribute or not and what portion you want to contribute.
Some of you people must be obsessed with numbers, a profile could have a dozen error but the only thing you contribute is CoC or slipcase flag. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. The discussion is about enhancing other features on DVDP such as movie pick which is based off the top-billed actors in the cast list. |

| Posted: | | | | I kinda wish there was an alternate cast list because I'm not about to go through my entire collection to move up the top-billed actors all by myself. |

| Posted: | | | | Interesting concept, Doc, not real sure how it would be implemented, not being familiar with what Ken is using. However I will say that while it's interesting it would probably a first class itch to try and manage. Don't think I would want the job. Not to mention you could probably create , oh probably at least half dozen or more altenate lists to try and accomodate the wishes of every user. Who knows there might be some users out there who want to go bottom to top. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | Or maybe a new checkbox called "Top Billed" that is checked when the actor or actress is credited in the opening credits. Then it's not a matter of rank, it's a matter of who has it checked or not. |

It always annoys me that the guy who did the voice of the Ring (which you can barely make out) is the top-billed actor in the LOTR movies according to DVDP. | Posted: | | | | If you duplicate them, then I assume you will get them listed twice for the same film when you double click the actor's entry.
Other than that, I don't much care either way. I voted to keep it as it is, though. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Correct, this is an apparent flaw that I am sure will addressed somewhere down th road, in fact there are even a couple feature rquests addressing it. Skip- | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! | Posted: | | | | Yeah... I remember a couple different feature requests to count the times an actor is on each disc not count just once per profile. I am hoping we will get it before too long. | | | Pete |
