| Posted: | | | | One additional thing you could try is to Tools>View Plugins and see if either plugin appears unchecked. If so, check the box and see what happens. If any error message, please report. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

I downloaded BulkEdit v2.60 and BulkEdit v2.37 from your website today. Tried both. No dice. Just no sign of the plugin once launching DVD Profiler 3.8.2 Build 1542 (... just as is the case with LoadDVD v2.46 or v2.51). As we've discussed though, I'd be more than happy to chime back in once DVD Profiler 3.9 has been released and I've upgraded to it and attempted to replicate again. In fact, when that time comes I'll wipe everything out and install 3.9 from scratch like I did with 3.8 today. If any error message, please report. Sadly there is no sign of the plugins within DVD Profiler once installed. They aren't listed under "Tools->View Plugins". The two plugins that come pre-installed with DVD Profiler are listed there (Collection Gallery, View Flagged DVDs) as is the Database Query plugin I installed simply for testing purposes. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection | | | Last edited: by Lowpro |

| Posted: | | | | BulkEdit V2.73 Available
This version works ONLY on 3.9.0 and above.
Features: - A number of bugs fixed - XML and CSV Import have been improved and made more complete
This version does NOT yet support custom fields, and has not been thoroughly tested with Alternate IDs. Please report any issues right away, as these will result in very high priority fixes.
I am evaluating what needs to be added / changed to take advantage of the new 3.9.0 features. Suggestions welcomed. And if I have forgotten a previously promised feature, please remind me. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | Hi, It's been awhile since I've used BulkEdit so I don't know if problems that I'm having are related to recent changes. (I created images but can't seem to include them) I've tried various numbers of profiles. When I View Plugins BulkEdit is checked and when I click Options I really don't understand the selections.
When I select BulkEdit I see a menu with three choices. And when a click on any choice I see a box open with "Error" in the upper left and "Operation aborted" displayed below BulkEdit
I've tried V2.60 and V2.73.
I'm using Win 7 64 professional and do not have Profiler 3.9 installed in the default location. Any suggestions as to what to check?

Jim F. That could be it. I'm not quite understanding the comment about images .., can you explain a bit further? Edit: Ok, I got it by reading more carefully. Let's stick with V2.73 and see if we can get that one going. Where is DVDP installed? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | Hi, Profiler is installed on a GB SSD. S:\DVD Profiler. I'll continue looking into posting images here. Using the snipping tool to show the folder layout could be helpful. It seems like every site has it's own little eccentricities regarding images. I did upload the images to a hosting site and tried to add the links but I did something wrong. |

| Posted: | | | | Don't worry too much about the images. I'm not sure it would add much over the details you have already provided.
Maybe just one image: Tools>Options>File Folders. If that does not reveal any personal information. You could also PM me the image if you have any concerns about that. Also, where is "\plugins\BulkEdit" located? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

Not very graceful but hopefully better than nothing. I'll keep trying. Jim |

By the way, to post a link use this: ImageJust in case I am chasing up the wrong tree, do you know if it works when DVD is installed in the default paths? Actually, I really don't see why my code would fail for your setup, but just checking. But it is probably something else. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. This is one of the hardest types of problem to solve. I can't reproduce it. Maybe somebody else can help. Is there anyone running BulkEdit in this environment? Win 7 x64 Professional? I used to run that way, but since then upgraded to 8.1 x64 on that machine. My server copy of DVDP is also running on a x64 machine and my plugins work there. So I don't think it is as simple as x64 vs x32. Any help, ideas, suggestions from anybody would be welcomed. I wonder if this is related to the problem that Lowpro was having ,,,, | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | Ok, I have tested on various windows machines in my house, different systems and hardware, both x32 and x64. Can't reproduce the problem yet.
You know, BulkEdit has a dozen or so menus. Can you tell me which one(s) produce the error?
- There are three menus off the Tool>BulkEdit leg - There is ScrapeGoat - There are several menus under Collection>Flagged .... (see the BulkEdit icon for the ones I provide)
I can't imagine that they all fail, but you can tell me ...
This will be very important debugging information. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |
