Seems to be a bug with some Safari versions. You could just head to the discord website directly and use the "add server" function there, which allows you to paste the invite link I posted. Or use the desktop app.

Well, I went ahead and created a Discord server. Happy for anyone to join it, be it for DVDP discussions or planning ahead for its eventual demise

Was worried too, even contacted mediadogg via mail :D I'm wondering though if we should take some steps which would make it easier for us to at least have a chance to continue using the software should the site go down permanently. At least a forum/discord/whatever which the "active" members know exists and would hit up in case of a downtime to be able to communicate.

It must be said too, it would be much easier to reverse engineer the network protocol for a simulated server experience / a server replacement while the live server is actually running. Will be much harder once we only have the client...

I once had similar behavior with a title which seemingly at random after using the program for a while and doing stuff, placed itself at the top. I don't recall exactly how I solved it, but I think it was caused by some boxset weirdness. It might have been that the disc in my collection tab was a child of a boxset from  a different tab. So try going to the "All" tab, see if those are part of a boxset there, and then remove the boxset connection.

Unfortunately having problems downloading as well. I registered for BulkEdit a while ago, apparently forgot my PW ?? but the password reset mail is not arriving (yes, I checked spam...)

Guess I need to add "Update DiscID" menu also? If the DVD is in the drive and the profile has a discID that matches the Win10 version, compute the legacy one and replace it.

That would be nice, yes. Not sure why you'd need to compare the disc ID with the win 10 version though. If the profile has a legit disc id, but I have a legit different disc ID, I would want to set that as well.

And sorry for the obscure bug report I guess it happens when adding the "Edited" tag with it's subtag.

There seems to be a small bug with the plugin. I use it to change disc IDs (calculated with DJDoena's app to circumvent the Windows 10 problems). I open the tool, load flagged profiles, copy&past the disc id into the relevant spreadsheet field and then save. At that moment, my tags in the "Set Tags" DVDP window are modified. Thankfully not permanently. Each tage name is missing it's first letter. Subtags as well. Tag names are restored once I restart DVD Profiler.

As I have started using your tool again, I just wanted to finally say thank you. It really makes things a lot easier

DJDoena's code computes the correct discID.

Where can I get this?

Here.

The code will also be integrated into BulkEdit, HTTPJolie and maybe a small standalone tool. If you know how to compile the code, you can make the standalone tool yourself. If not, and you can't wait a few days, just scream and some developer will get it done sooner. If you can do it, that would be really appreciated if you make available to all.

Edit: I just noticed the post by ObiKen. Check that out also.

Thanks for your work on this problem guys I've now been hit by this too (I had the Win 10 version for ages of course, but had no external drive for this machine due to no real need).

Any progress on the tool/integration? It would probably also be a good candidate for DVDPca. But yeah, simplest would be a standalone plugin that does nothing but read the disc and set the disc id to Profile/A/B based on a selection. I have compiled DJDoenas code myself and actually modified it slightly so it automatically copies the detected disc id to the clipboard. But it's still pretty time-consuming going via BulkEdit for this.
