Oh, lets leave it in for those of us who want it...doesn't mean you need to use or accept it.

I'm not sure which is correct, but in my opinion what you have here should be what you listed. Each having its own Original Title:

DVD release: The X-Files: The Complete First Season
Blu-ray release: The X-Files: The Complete Season 1

I have taken about 1 month to complete adding the entire credit list (Cast and Crew) from "The Fate of the Furious" Blu-ray after contributing a reaudit and then copying to the 4K. If anyone is interested in checking it out, I have exported it to an xml file and will sent it to you.

I will probably never do this again because of the length of time it takes.

While I can understand...

I agree with some of what you are saying, but personally I love data...the more the better. In fact sometimes I tend to go to far and shot down. I love physical media and this program. Yes, I wish it would get some updates, but pound for pound it's still the best thing out there, because of the things you can do locally. This is my hobby and I love taking all the time it requires to go through profiles from top to bottom.

Bare bones is better than nothing and can at least give a starting point for someone who wants to continue filling it in.

I started with Beta and VHS in the mid 70s. Beta was better than VHS, but VHS won. I never got into Laserdiscs, but I remember having over 400 VHS tapes when DVD started. I got my first DVD player in 1999. My company sent me to Canada to one of our other offices for a few days, but before I left, I set up the player and told my wife to go out and buy a couple movies. She bought "The Matrix" and "Godzilla". The first DVD I watched was The Matrix.

Side note: The Matrix Reloaded was the 1000th one we bought. I remember because at the time we were buying about 4 to 7 DVD every week. We were at 996 at that time and I picked The Matrix Reloaded off the shelf and gave it to my wife to hold. I then proceeded to pull 3 others from the shelf and made her wait until I purchased them. Then she bought the Matrix Reloaded. So, 1 and 1000 were the first 2 Matrix movies. With so many 4K and 3Ds in our collection now, we have replaced many, many movies with newer versions. Some as many as 6 or 7 times. We are now forced to buy the 3D and 4K versions separately, for the most part, a few come in the same case. The US has almost completely quit producing 3D discs, so we get most of them from the UK.

Sorry to ramble, but once I got started, I couldn't stop.

I still love physical media. With high end equipment, the picture and sound is superior to streaming.

From my point of view, this would be a complete abuse of group dividers.

How can following the rules be an abuse of the rules?

The rule on dividers explicitly says:
Quote:
Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast".

Special Appearance by is at least as "essential" as Additional Cast.

And don't suggest that one cannot be a group, because Invelos has approved far too many group dividers for song titles with a single author for me to buy that argument.

You can make the aspect ratio anything you want. There just happens to be a list of popular sizes in the drop-down menu.

I don't see any reason we shouldn't use "Special Appearance by" or "Guest Appearance by", it's a grouping for that person. The role should be "Himself" or "Herself"...just my 2 pennies.
