Priority:
If alphabetically listed, then I go by it
If there is a graphical hint (different spacing between lines, floating lines, ...) I go by lines/rows
If there is a conclusion throughout the web about the most important cast (or a web presence of the studio/distributor), I use the order (row/column) to match this sorting as close as possible
If there is no clue, I go by line/row

What he said.

3 Things:

1. Are you using the latest version of DVDP?
2. Have you rebuilt the database?
3. Make sure the pictures are not locked.

In the past, I have had to rebuild the database several times in a row and when I finally received no more errors, the problem was solved. I don't know whether this could be the issue, but it's definitely a much easier and less intrusive way to see if it helps. Also, are you running the latest version of DVDP?

I just went through this with my android. Make sure you are allowing invelos.com and their port number through your firewall and antivirus software.

But, if their individual credits are for both, wouldn't that mean they did both. If they were listed under a group heading of both and did not have individual credits, I would agree, not to list them because you wouldn't have any idea which they did.

If a person gets listed as both, they obviously did both and should get the Makeup credit. My 2 pennies

As of today, I am having the same issue. I have rebuilt the DB, restarted my router, PC, and phone, but no luck. I also made sure the IP address and port were correct along with the password. I'm at a loss.

Like AlunH, I misread the discussion and did not understand that we were talking about the parent container for the individual movies. I have changed my vote.

My understanding is that it was created to use with TV Episode lists that have a Play All feature on the disc.

The title of the movie is the title of the movie as it appears in the opening credits, not with a collection which is an edition. Cut and dried to me.

The job description for a Makeup Artist is:

Makeup Artist Job Description. Makeup Artists are beauty practitioners who offer general makeup services or work in prosthetic design. Their primary duties include enhancing facial aesthetics through makeup, creating custom looks for clients and working with actors on movie sets.

The job description for a Special Effects Makeup Artist is:

Special effects makeup artists will spend much of their time using cosmetics and appliances to create the appearance of bruises, cuts, blood, old age, deformities, mutations, and more.

I'm the lone vote for Makeup Effects.

I don't agree with either option. Measure with a screen gauge.

You'll have to get Ken to add a category for Visual Effects Cleaning Crew. Oh, wait, he has become invisible!!!

I use a custom Media Type for all my digital movie and TV series purchases from VUDU.com. I download one of the DVD profiles and customize it to suit my digital only needs, along with the image below.

I'm one of the guilty parties for entering those groups of names. I will no longer do that and when I run into the ones I have done, I will fix them, if someone already hasn't, and resubmit for approval.

I hear you, but one thing that has changed is that Ken, before the recent hiatus, did put in two major database upgrades that are simply not being used: custom fields and custom profile IDs.

Where is this? Maybe it's not being used because no one can find it.

If you are talking about custom role fields, I use them all the time. and if you are talking about manual IDs, I use those as well. Otherwise, please point us to them.
