So started doing some maintance and I noticed something with the titles.

The Mandalorian: the complete first season
The Mandalorian: the complete second season
Star Wars: The Mandalorian : the complete third season

So should they all be star wars erc or just the Mandalorian ?

Is been eons since I have done and contribs and outside of cover photos and cast that's been most of my Contribution to the DB.

For purposes of contribution the given title should match the title naming that appears on the product packaging, i.e. slip, cover art, disc labels.  For your own use locally name the titles as you see fit.

All the cover images I've seen read, in invelos format:

Star Wars: The Mandalorian: The complete First Season
Star Wars: The Mandalorian: The complete Second Season
Star Wars: The Mandalorian: The complete Third Season

So that's what should be contributed.

I used just The Mandalorian because the Star Wars part of the cover was in a much smaller font than The Mandalorian. Or am I reading that "possessive" part of the Title rule wrong?
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!

Yep, I use a lot of custom stuff in the sort by field, As an example I have all my James Bond movie sorted in a way its by release order.

But as it stands in the current DB from when I added them there is a naming discrepancy.

Thanks to all,

I wouldn't consider this a possessive.  To me, this is more of a series title with The Mandalorian being a chapter in that series.

Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
Star Wars: Ahsoka

A possessive, as indicated in the rules, would be Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas.  The apostrophe 's' makes it a possessive.

So working through my Bluray mess, I noticed another oddity in the Star Wars movies, almost all of the movies have the small "Star Wars" above the movie title, but the exception to this are Rouge One and Solo have under the title "A Star Wars Story"

Just a little hummm.. It is amazing how much has come back to after all these years not using the PC app.
