As a lot of people are probably aware, Blu-ray has become regionally encoded (A, B, C).

Any chance for a program update to reflect this?

A/1 North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

B/2 Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

C/3 India, Nepal, Mainland China, Russia, Central and South Asia.

This could be pretty helpful to those of us who import discs.  As I understand it, most Blu-ray discs (for the time being) don't have region coding making them effectively all region...but just to complicate things, some do.

Can I just say - as someone who imports DVds - having ****** regions with Blu ray after hoping that this garbage might be behind us..

So now I have to ensure that any blu-ray player I might/might not buy is multi region as well..

If it weren't for region coding, there would be no high definition Disney titles.  It's a layer of complexity I'd rather do without...just like DRM.  However, if it's region coding or no HighDef movies....I'll take region coding any day of the week.
