Hi,

Trying to test DPM with my PDA and DP. (Not got unlimited yet)

Trying to sync with the PDA, I get a "Connection Timed Out" error window come up with "Please make sure your PocketPC is connected via ActiveSync and try again"

It is connected, and I can browse it by using "File" "Explorer" in ActiveSync.

Any clues??

Ok, there seems to be a bug here.....

At home I'm running XP professional 64 bit edition. The collection is ~110 dvds, and I'm currently not "unlimited". From what I've seen, I should still be able to sync up a subset of my collection, even tho there are over 50 dvd's in my collection.

So, looks like XP64 and DVD Profiler with DP Mobile is incompatible.

Just to be sure, you are using the most current versions of both programs together, right? DVD Profiler 3.0.3 (Build 1136) and DVD Profiler Mobile 1.0.4 (Build 119 ).

Downloaded 'em both last night off the site. Seems that dvdprofiler can't see the PDA thru activesync (4.5) on the 64 bit OS.

Afraid I can't help you there. I use XP Home not the Pro version. Perhaps it has something to do with insufficient permissions or something like that? I was using Activesync 4.5 but downgraded to 4.2 due to compatibility issues with Outlook 2000, but I never experienced anything like your problem.

Bizzare....

Seems like syncing from the PC at work now has this working. Either that, or now having bought the desktop edition, it's now letting me sync.
