Hi,

Having problems getting my collection to my dvdprofiler. I ahvent used DP for about 3 years or so but lucky i put my then collection online. So got back my details and then updated the username and password and downloaded the new profiler. But it's saying error when i try to connect to the online database.

now i can log in via the email you sent me, but cannot log in via the normal links. Have checked all details are correct and even requested a email back but this also has not come back to me.

The collection is 400+ so need to find a way to add this to my dvdprofiler i got now.

Any ideas?

Upload only works if you have a registered version of DVD Profiler 3.x.
You cannot use your free key from version 2.x
If you have bought version 2.x, then you can login with that key and it will be upgraded to a 3.x key.

Otherwise, you can use Profiler locally, but when you have more than 50 DVDs you have limited functions.

When you wish to upload, you have to buy version 3.x ($30).

The old online collections for 2.x and the new ones for 3.x are in totally different places. You will have to download your collection to a 2.x version of the program, back it up (File -> Back up database) and then restore the backup into the 3.x version of the program.

Note: As stated you will not be able to upload your collection to the new 3.x area until you pay the registration fee if you have more than 50 titles.

I think (hope) you mean downloaded... and yes, this would be normal I think. It only up/down loads the title and any personal data then fills in the rest from the central database.

You can just do an Online -> Refresh All images to get the images from the central database back into your collection.
