| Posted: | | | | OK, I guess I need to be more specific in my question.
I just upgraded fro 2.4 to 3.1, backed up my data first, then installed the new version and imported my database. After some time, it gave me a message about flaging some files for incomplete UPCs. When I went back to correct them I only found a few with bad UPCs. Could there be something else? | | | Last edited: by Z1568 |

| Posted: | | | | I believe old disc IDs can also cause the profile to be flagged in this situation - try updating them too. |

| Posted: | | | | Upon the first conversion of your local db from 2.x to 3.x, the program creates a flag set containing all unconverted UPCs. I don't remember the name, but there should be only one initially anyway.
Load that flag set from Collection -> Flags -> Load Flag Set
Then grab the flagged DVDs from your shelf, correct the UPCs and the Disc IDs by typing the complete UPC or inserting the DVD in your DVD-ROM, and upload those profiles as well.
Voilà, all set. | | | Lutz |

| Posted: | | | | Darxon is right. Version 3.x uses different UPC formats and Disc IDs. When you're converting a 2.x database to 3.x, the programme will convert most UPCs and Disc IDs automatically, however some have to be converted manually. These are the ones that have been flagged in your collection. Here's some additional information on the differences in UPC format. As long as your flagged entries have not been converted manually, you will not be able to receive updates from the central Invelos database for these profiles or contribute them yourself. Once you've converted them, you will probably notice that some of them have meanwhile been submitted to the central database by other users and some may not yet have been submitted. You could then proceed to contribute the latter ones yourself. |
