Does anyone know if there is a way to recover your database from online?

Yes, go to where you would normally upload your database in the program. But instead of selecting upload, select download and your online collection will be downloaded, overwriting your current database.

Online -> DVD Profiler Online -> (Username/Password) Next -> (Download radio button) Next -> Next

Though this should only be used as an emergency and regular backups are the best thing to do because your online collection does not contain 100% of your data.

..and you should be aware that all your local profile adjustments and coverscans will be overwritten after restore from online database!

Coverscans yes, you lose them.

But I thought it wasn't true anymore about the personal adjustments to profiles since 3.0? That our whole personal database was uploaded?

You are correct. I use the online to sync up my collection on two machines and all I loose is the cover scans.

Thanks everyone . I had my database back up on a usb drive and when I reloaded xp on my machine I accidentlly partitioned the wrong drive.
