| | Posted: | | | | The Roger Corman Collection consists of four discs, each with two films - one on each side. Does each side need its own profile or am I right in thinking that you put the disc ID for side A and side B with the title reflecting both films? For example disc one contains Gas-s-s-s and The Trip so I have put the title as Gas-s-s-s & The Trip and the disc ID for Gas-s-s-s as side A and The Trip on side B. I thought I'd done it correctly but the only vote on each disc is a no saying Quote:
The Trip has its own profile, since it has its own disc id What are the rules for such discs?  |

The term "Box Set" is used to define any release that includes more than one film. The main examples are:
Sets where each film is packaged individually, and held together in a package of some kind.
Sets where each film is on a separate disc, but not individually packaged. This includes gatefold Digipaks and 2-Disc sets in normal DVD cases.
Sets containing 2 films, one on each side of Dual-Sided DVD.

All those child disk IDs should already be in Profiler, at least for region 1. Now it's possible that a couple are missing, but we were pretty good about catching most of these. |

If you have two movies on the same side of a disc (i have one i can think of -- Going My Way/Holiday Inn [UPC: 025192039423]) and the movies are conjoined you are limited to combining the profiles. Cast/Credit lists are separated by dividers. Disc IDs can't be used to split them out because there is only one ID so which Movie gets it? So, the same will apply for video formats? One movie is in full screen while the other is anamorphic widescreen. Only reason I ask is this profile is not in the database and I plan on submitting it but want to make sure... |

| | Posted: | | | | The program should allow you to tick both the widescreen and either full-frame/P & S boxes, and when you look at the profile, you should see both video formats. Not sure what you would put into the aspect ratio box - most likely the AR of the widescreen film. |
