Any ideas why the alphabetic sort on the list of my DVD's puts 'The Burbs' at the beginning - in front of 'A' and 'Proof' at the end - after 'Z'???  Is there a way to manualy fix this?

Yes, there is. That's what the Sort Title field is for.

Thanks but if you mean clicking on sort/title/ascending....  it sorts it as described in my first post.  Is there something else hidden away somewhere?

Double-click on the entry. The edit mode will open. Then there's a field called "Sort Title". Check what's in it and correct it if necessary.

That's not what I meant. Pick one of the DVD's that needs resorting. Go to DVD / Edit. A window will open with various possibilities to edit the existing profile. In the left table, choose General Information (should open by default anyway). Now, below DVD Title and Edition you should see a field called Sort Title. You can change whatever is in there to suit your personal needs. Click OK (right bottom of the window) and you're done.

EDIT: the other DJ beat me to it...

Alternatively, just click on the Personalize icon (disc image with painter's pallette).
