Any help would be appreciated.

I can connect and sync at my home but not at the office from the same laptop so the issue has to be at the router. Can someone please guide me how to configure a router so that it will allow a connection? When I set to share, I see the IP address at the bottom but entering that info on my iPhone failed to connect the two. Appreciate any input here.

It depends on the router you are using. Check the listing for your router at http://portforward.com/ and open the port that DVD Profiler uses.

Some troubleshooting questions:

- Are both devices inside the same subnet? (e.g. 255.255.255.0)
- Are the two IP addresses the same except the forth (i.e. last) number?
- Can both devices successfully ping each other?
- Does maybe the router separate WLAN stations from the wired LAN stations by default?
- As SilentBob1138 already suggested, does the router block unknown ports between stations?
- Try using port 80 – that's also used for HTTP, so if you can surf, DVDP will most likely be able to sync, if other ports are blocked and you don't know where.
- Do you have any other security software installed that may block the connection? Anti-virus suite, malware scanner, ...?

Good luck!
