| Posted: | | | | Sad news indeed, he'll be sorely missed but will live on as the Brig forever...
Shamelessly stolen from another forum - let's hope he doesn't use "5 rounds rapid" on the next chap with wings he meets...
RIP Nick; a fine actor and a well respected and lovely man. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | I found this news very saddening. It’s like a little part of my childhood had gone now too.
There is something special about secondary characters (and the actors that play them) who continue to appear in long running series after the main characters and/or actors have moved on. They give these series continuity and something for fans to hold on to. The Brigadier is quite possibly the über example.
Paul | | | Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it? Guttermouth "Lemon Water". Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally. So I'm an anarchist, deal with it. Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted... |

| Posted: | | | | Farewell to the Brigadier! Met him at a convention in the mid 80s - nice guy! So was the "villain" Tony Ainley. |
