When i click on some of the titles (theres something like 20 of these on my collection now), it loads something (the load bar under the title list), and jumps to another title. I tryed closing and launching the program again. But still doesnt work. It worked this morning properly.

Anyway, so i tryed to force it open the profile, i filtered with title, leaving nothing but one of the "not working" titles to the list, the load bar gos through 4,5 times and the program freezed (not responding).

Anybody know how to fix this? Can the repair tool be used?

EDIT: I tryed to export my collection, making separate files for each profile. None of the corrupted profiles were exported. There are 54 profiles in my collection that are corrupted.

Can you restore those profiles from the original backup you used from 2.5?

I would NOT use the repair tool at the moment - that gives a whole new bucket of fish. (A new version 3.01 will fix the repair and should be out fairly quickly).

I used to have this problem back in 2.5, only in the Ordered section for som reason. The repair tool fixes it admirably, but Paul is right, at the moment it will mess up too much other stuff. Perhaps you have a backup from which you can restore the afflicted title?

If i restore will it overwrite the existing collection? I dont want to do that. Also if i restore, can i only restore those specific profiles? So that it would only overwrite those profiles that are corrupted?

Also the update from the master DB has 5/6 of my collection, i'm going to go through the list and see if that fixes them.

EDIT:
Damn, just realised something. Yesterday i started to go through the "Refresh Updated Profiles" list, on some of the profiles when i tryed to check the changes, it gave an error:

It says something like "Wasnt able to download the file. Do you still want to continue?"

Then thought it was the server busy issue, still found it strange that it only did it on some profiles.

Just checked again, the profiles where it gave the error, are exactly the same as the ones that are corrupted now. Yesterday i did not update any profiles, i started to go through the list, got to B, and then pressed 'cancel' and thought id go through the rest of the list later.

If i try to add the DVD's to my collection, there the preview works fine.

Yes, you can restore specific profile only.

After clicking the Restore Database menu entry, in the second window you get the option to Restore Specific Profiles.

^^ I'll wait a little while, if Ken/gerri want more info on the bug, so that i can provide the data that might have led to the current status. So that it could be fixed. But i did try it one profile, it overwrited the corrupted profile and now works. It created a dublicate of the profile, but both the copy and the original work.

Anyway, more info, if i try to add a DVD to my collection, that is already in my collection, it says "It is already part of my collection". When i try to add a DVD that is corrupted, it doesnt give such error. But the profile still has that Owned -icon next to it. It seems these DVD's has dissappeared from my collection, but the profile list still has them.

I have tryed to go through these correupted profiles on 2.5 to see if theres anything in common with them. So far with no luck, it seems to be completely random.

I have some titles that when I select them, the program takes a little while before it will actually display the information in the right hand panels. It appears to freeze for a bit, but you can actually hear some hard disk activity and eventually the information gets displayed and the program properly switches to that title.

The more you repeatedly edit the profiles of these titles a little bit, then click OK, edit the profiles some more, then click OK, etc, the longer the program seems to take to switch to those titles! It also takes longer and longer each time for the program to process the changes after you click OK - sometimes freezing for a couple of minutes.

This didnt work so well, when restoring the profile, it makes a dublicate (there are 2 identical profiles in my DB). Both seem to link to the same info, when i delete one of them, it goes back to the part where the remaining one doesnt work. For the DB to work, i would probably have to delete the whole DB, and restore from scratch, i think.
