Hi to all!
I need to following this thing. Start with an example.

DVD in database, i buy an old rent version. Digit UPC/EAN and it's not present. Is it best to add dvd present in database and change UPC, cover etc etc OR best take profile from another country and "translate" in italian (changing UPC and region of course)?

I make this question with Quantum Of Solace. In db was only dvd sold but not "for rent". Taken two times italian DVD present and modified cover, contribuited but not accepted (obv i wrote "previous accepted profile etc etc"). Taken from UK, "translate" in Italian, changed cover etc etc and... accepted...

If I change UPC/EAN, i create "another" dvd OR I modify previous DVD, deleting old?

Sorry for my terrific English... Thank you very very much!

It's always best to start from scratch. Put the EAN of your DVD into Profiler and make sure it's under the correct locality for that DVD (the country in which it was to be sold).

The rules do permit you to copy/paste the Cast and Crew from another previously approved profile (as long as you state where you got the information from in your notes). Something like 'Cast and Crew as taken from previously approved DVD @ EAN-000123456789' should be fine.

Try to double-check everything if you can. It's always better to have an incomplete profile in the database than none at all (as long as everything's accurate ).

If you change the UPC/EAN and contribute under the new UPC/EAN you have created a new profile.  This does not modify the existing profile from the previous UPC/EAN.
