Not sure if I'm right here, but I have the following issue:
I recently added the child profiles for the TV-Shows I own. Now the credit count for the actors has gone up considerably because it counts every child profile even though I assigned no number and put 0 as 'count as'.
Is there any way around this?

You would need to remove the cast and crew from the child profiles (or the parent profiles whichever you prefer).

This behaviour is exactly why many of us don't use Child profiles for TV-Shows.

BTW: The "Count As" only has influence on the disc counter not on the data included in the profile, so it isn't of any use for "correcting" the credit counter.

@ Pete:
Removing the data from the child-profiles would make them even more pointless for TV-Shows, wouldn't it?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Depends on what you want to use the child profiles for. I personally like the info in the child profiles myself. But know people that don't.

So people like the child profiles so they can mark the discs themselves watched as they watch them instead of having to mark the entire set.

So what is actually needed is an option to choose whether or not the child profiles should be counted for the credit count.

Personally, I just remove all cast and crew from the season profile which I consider nothing more than a box set profile and be done with it.
