| Posted: | | | | There seem to be 2 actresses, both credited as Vanessa Williams, both born in 1963 http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001853/?ref_=fn_nm_nm_1 http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004539/?ref_=tt_cl_t11
How should they be differentiated in the database?

| Posted: | | | | With the current Birthyear system this sadly is not possible for the maindatabase.
You can separate them only locally.
Cases like this are the reason why Birthyears as differentiator should be abandoned in favour of a more efficient system. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | 2 different Vanessa Williams's??The only way to deal with this at the moment is to separate them some way in your local database, but it can't be contributed. We have the same problem with Alan Parker (1944) and Alan Parker (1944)! | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |
