| Posted: | | | | Why not just get yourself a 4 GB flash drive for about $5 and back up to that?

That'll work, but... if your flash drive is, say, M: do not select "Removable drive M:" because that won't work. Select "Specific Location" instead, and enter a path just like for any disk drive. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

"Removable" should be removed, it's purpose died with the floppy-disk. @Bud54 There is a possibility to mount a DVD-R[W] with UDF(I think) so that the empty disc looks like a simple HDD to the system. But in the end I'd prefer to do the backup to the HDD and burn it afterwards, together with the backups of all your other data. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Threaten him with a Hunger Strike and Pizza/Beer withdrawal, that should work. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
