Do verbal credits count as screen credit the same as visual credits?

I have a film where one of the actors plays himself and he is verbally introduced by name at the beginning of the film, but he is not listed in the visible acting credits.

I will add that this film does not have end credits, and thus no "standard credits".  Per credit rules:
Quote:
If a film does not have standard credits, use the following rules:
...
If a film has no end credits, but does have actors credited elsewhere, enter the actors from those credits.
...

So does the phrase "but does have actors credited elsewhere" include verbal credits, and is this considered a credited role as far as DVD Profiler is concerned?

Absolutely... a verbal credit is still a credit in the film. And yes the role as credited in the verbal credit as well.

Worked for "Fahrenheit 451", should work elsewhere.
Document properly and all should be well.

Certainly Yes

Verbal credits are credits as well.
As far as i'm concerned i would agree as long as it is properly documented / explained.
