| Posted: | | | | Today I noticed that there are twoprofiles for the same disc (part of a boxset): Buffy: Im Bann der Dämonen: Season 1 - Disc 3 Both profiles have the same Disc-ID. Can you merge these two entries? But make sure the connection to the original boxset stays intact). Thank you! |

| Posted: | | | | Nope.... the owner of the database had to make a decision not that long ago. He wants (because the majority asked for) every disc ID have it's own profile in the database. This means that there can be multiple (2 or possibly more) profiles for any disc level profile.
Best thing you can do (if you have a dvd or bd drive) is add by disc to be sure you get the right one for your set. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I mis-read something... you said 2 profiles with the same disc ID? I think the only way this can happen is with different localities. Still... merging or deleting one may not be the right thing to do... this can easily happen when the set is released in more then one locality.
If a box set is pulling down 2 disc 3s from the online just need to remove the wrong locality one from the box set content field of the parent profile and submit change. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Like Addicted2DVD says, they must be different Localities. Pick the right one for your set's Locality. In this case, Germany? | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the help. But as it turned out, it was a database error.
I checked the 2 entries again - they had exactly the same data. So I tried and deleted the whole boxset. But one of the disc entries could not be deleted and now it was no longer possible to edit or delete it. So I tried a "repair database", that found an error and deleted one physical record. After that "repair" there was still the same entry, but I finally could delete it. Then I downloaded the boxset once again and now everything seems correct. |
