| Posted: | | | | In the last 8 seconds of the movie, the Paramount Logo appears with the words Distributed by. There is no other mention of them on the case or anywhere else in the credits. Should they get a studio credit of some kind? FYI: There are studio slots available. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks guys, I will add them to the top of the studio list. I didn't say so before, but that was my thought also. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | Wait. So why is Paramount a Studio and not a Media Company. Seems like Dreamworks Animation is the primary studio, and Paramount is the primary Media Company. |

Based on the credits stating "Paramount Logo appears with the words Distributed by", Paramount goes in the MC field. Per rules: "Distributor - Usually found as a logo on the bottom of the back cover or in the credit block with words regarding distribution." |

| Posted: | | | | I think you are mixing "Theatrical Distribution" and "(DVD/Blu-ray) Media Distribution"... IMHO in this case Paramount is only the Theatrical Distributor and so should be put in the first Studio slot... |

| Posted: | | | | According to another source, they are the Theatrical Distributor. For what it's worth, I think MakoDeth is correct and I don't understand why I didn't see this to start with. As they say, sometimes you can stand in the middle of a forest and can't see it for the trees. I guess I'm just not used to seeing the distributor listed at the end only and not the beginning.
I will put them in the studio list. I hope this is right. I'm using the beta so I won't be able to contribute until it's released for contributions.
Thanks everyone for the responses. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

Per rules: "Distributor - Usually found as a logo on the bottom of the back cover or in the credit block with words regarding distribution." But the Paramount logo or name doesn't appear on the DVD case, only appears at the end of the film, hence film distributor and not the DVD distributor/manufacturer. another case where the wording of the contribution rules can be confusing/misleading. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |
