| Posted: | | | | Custom Searches under the My Links are stored in \AppData\Local\DVD Profiler\CustomSearches.DAT.
I doubt if this file can be directly edited without causes issues with the program. | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | i was trying to setup a custom search to https://www.findagrave.com website, they have some great headshots for the older 30`s actors. and the biography makes it quick to make sure it`s the right person. but the field is not long enough by around 4 characters |

Some programs will insert that for you automatically. I have not tried it myself - just a suggestion. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Or maybe: If you can get the IP address of the site, use xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx instead of https://www.findagrave.com. Even https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is a bit shorter. I got 66.43.22.135. But you might have to override the certificate error if you go that route. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | nice idea, but nope it doesn`t work,
this is what i need www.findagrave.com/php/famous.php?page=gSearch&globalSearchCriteria=
this is the best i can fit, www.findagrave.com/php/famous.php?page=gSearch&globalSearchCriter
unfortunately it needs the www to open in browser.
ive bodged it with this
www.google.co.uk/search?q=%2Bsite+findagrave.com+
but would prefer it direct into findagrave. |

| Posted: | | | | LOL, i`m using it in the headshot search so it will add the actors name after, https://www.findagrave.com/php/famous.php?page=gSearch&globalSearchCriteria=john+wayne best case is with only name`s listed, https://www.findagrave.com/php/famous.php?page=gSearch&page=gSearch&globalSearchCriteria=john+wayne but way too long. as you see very nice biogs for the actor, and very handy when doing cast on older films. i try to not use imdb for everything | | | Last edited: by kevineeley |
