| Posted: | | | | Hi, I have done a search on this and I could not find anything (although it seems strange that this has not happened before). On an impulse I bought a boxed set of 10 Jerry Lewis movies (you can find the same boxed set here on Amazon). I am trying to contribute the set, so I have added the DVDs in the box set by disc ID. However, I found out that the ids already exist and are part of other sets. Is there a way of adding existing DVDs to a new set without breaking anything? claudio |

| Posted: | | | | If the Disc IDs are identical then you need to create new 'alternate' Profiles for those Disc IDs for the new Box Set. See here - What are Alternate Versions? | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | I've contributed dozens of box set of the last year or so as I've been bringing my collection in to the DVDP database. This situation is really not all that uncommon. If you go in to "Change UPC/Locality" you'll be able to create new alternates there. |
