| Posted: | | | | Hairdresser or hairstylist is not supported by the rules as a valid role we list. "Key Makeup Artist & Hairstylist", "Makeup and Hair Designer" and "Makeup Artist & Hair to" are exceptions and listed in the rules as valid roles and in my opinion you can see those as individual credits where one person is responsible for both makeup and hair. I was wondering how to handle credits like "Hair and Makeup Artists" with a list of names. Without any research you can't say who's a makeup artist and who's a hairdresser. So if you list them all, a hairdresser gets a makeup artist credit as well. With visual effects we've decided to leave the groups without individual credits out, so it's not possible to list anyone without knowing what they have exactly done. For me this is the same. Without knowing if someone was the makeup artist or the hairdresser I rather leave them out than adding them all. This goes for only a list of people, not for individual credits. So what do you think we should do? |

My 2 pennies It kind of depends on how you understand the group credit. Does it mean "Hair artists and make-up artists" or does it mean "Artists that each does both hair and make-up"? Without any further info it seems to me that the latter is probably a reasonable assumption, so yes - credit all. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

If they were listed under a group heading of both and did not have individual credits, I would agree, not to list them because you wouldn't have any idea which they did. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

| Posted: | | | | I was working on a new profile and when I was checking common names I found out that one of the listed hair and makeup artists only had hairdresser/hairstylist credits beside this movie so it seems likely she only worked as hairdresser.
But for now it looks like the majority would list all the credits. |

| Posted: | | | | Given the new info from Gamemaster it seems that they are not all doing both hair and make-up, I would now say don't list them (and I have changed my vote accordingly). | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
