Straight Outta Lynwood, the Weird Al Yankovic album from 2006 comes with a bonus DVD that contains a featurette and a couple of music videos. I'm unsure if this is allowed as a contribution as the main product is the music.

It is already there, at least in US-locality.

As to the general question of whether it should be contributed or not, lets get philosophical:
Is it a CD with a DVD attached, or a DVD with a CD attached?

The title will certainly stay in my database, no matter what.

It's listed as Audio CD on Amazon, so in my opinion the DVD should be entered by disc id, not by UPC. But that's just my take on it.

I've added it as both disc id and ean for good measure, also it seems at least the Scandinavian version of this disc is different from the US one.

I join the pro-contribute-it party.

But I don't think it should contributed twice (disc id AND upc/ean). Keep in mind, that each and every profile has to be maintained in the data base. Doubling the profile means half the contribution force on each of them to maintain them...

Just my two cents...

The "What to Contribute" section of the contribution rules explicitly state that "These discs, included as bonus discs with CDs or video games are accepted, but only contribute the DVD Video information." So yes, this can be submitted.

However, I agree with AiAustria that it shouldn't be submitted twice, under both Disc ID and EAN. Again, the contribution rules, immediately below the bit I just quoted, state: "When creating a new profile for contribution, the preferred method is to create from the UPC number", so that's what I would use here. We only use Disc ID's when we have to, when there's no alternative. But if there's a UPC/EAN, then that's the preferred method, so I see no need for a Disc-ID-based profile here.
