| Posted: | | | | I seem to remember that there was an automatic filter that changed the studio from 20th to Twentieth.
Just wondering if I remember this correctly and if I am what happened to it? |

I just checked and it seems to be disengaged.
Ken, when finding the time, please enable this again.
Thanks. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I noted some text in the Rules that was accidentally dropped when the 3.8 update was made. Sent in a ticket yesterday (Saturday) about noon and it was corrected within 3 hours. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | The filters are unchanged. The one you're referencing changes "20th Century Fox Home Entertainment" to "Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment"
This was done when we increased the studio field length last time, as many had been shortening the name that way.
We've never auto-changed 20th Century Fox. We can certainly add that if desired, but is it incorrect? It would seem that "20th Century Fox" may be valid. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

I know next to nothing about studios to say anything much one way or the other... but I wouldn't want to see it changed if 20th Century Fox is a valid studio. I always prefer correct info. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Ken isn't talking about the logo... but the title of the page... Not saying if it is right or wrong... just pointing out what he was talking about. But to say... Quote: When the studio name is written out it's always "Twentieth Century Fox" or Twentieth Century-Fox". is obviously wrong... since this is coming from the studio. | | | Pete |

is obviously wrong... since this is coming from the studio. Look in the credits of any Fox film, or look in the fine print on the back cover of a Fox DVD/Blu-ray. When it's not the logo, it's spelled out. This obviously doesn't keep Ken from doing whatever he wants to. --------------- |

is obviously wrong... since this is coming from the studio. He is talking about when it is written out in the film credits. I don't think I have ever seen it written '20th Century Fox presents'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | You know how literal of a person I am. He didn't mention anything about credits.... just that it is always written out. So the way my mind works... I wouldn't even consider he meant "in the credits" without him mentioning the credits. Not when there is stuff out there like the web page and all.
And I was just pointing out what Ken was saying.... that Ken was not going by the logo as he originally thought.
I still remain that I don't know what should or shouldn't be done. So I wasn't suggesting it should be any certain way. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Yea, I am the same way but, probably because I am a studio buff, I automatically assumed...I know, bad word...he was talking about the film credits. I can, however, see how it could be taken the other way. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
