Well, MS could have set the name string to "Windows Nine"... Though I didn't test Windows 10, I'm pretty sure it will be OS version 6.4*. * For applications that have been manifested for Windows 10. Applications not manifested for 10, but for 8.1 will return the Windows 8.1 OS version value (6.3). Applications neither manifested for 10 nor for 8.1 will return the Windows 8 OS version value (6.2). | | | |

OK... no new linking system... how about something we need just as bad... if not even more so... a way to add profiles to the online other then UPC or Disc ID? We need this so bad for both re-releases and more then 1 movie on 1 side of disc. I know... not gonna happen this time. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I know we are different... and different strokes for different folks... but for me it would give me best use of the database as the profile for the exact disc in the exact set will be there for me. In my eyes this is a huge plus. Just as big of a plus (if not bigger) as a new linking system... as we can get this linking system to work. But hey that is just my opinion on the matter... and of course the only opinion that matters is Ken's as he is the only one that can add this stuff. | | | Pete |

Obviously not everyone is going to agree with you. As for me, that's been my #1 wanted feature for years now. And given that we're going from 3.8 to 3.9, I suspect we won't see it this time. That's something I'd expect to see in 4.0. Hope I'm wrong, but I bet not. Still, I'm happy for a new version and I'm very much looking forward to playing with it. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | I have no opinion on any of the above....I'm perfectly happy with the program the way it is now.
The only changes/additions I'd like to see are: more studio and country of origin fields (users not interested in entering this info can simply leave the fields blank), and the ability to manually enter any language in the audio section (again, if not something 'you' would use, simply leave it blank). |

| Posted: | | | | Some other things I hope to see... 1. Be able to note when discs has a Play All menu option for TV Episodes, Shorts or movies that has more then one feature per 1 side of disc. (In Features? or elsewhere) 2. Nested Group Dividers 3. Fix Bug for Group Dividers4. More Icons for much used sites in My Links (like we have now for IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic) 5. My Links Remember what Category much used links belongs in... so for example it remembers that something like RogerEbert.com belongs in the Reviews category. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I know there was a list of requests somewhere but I couldn't find it.
Off the top of my head, along with the things listed above, there are a few other things I'd like to see.
I would also like to see the program accept any Cover Scan .
Another thing I don't care for is the "first come, first serve" problem(s) like this one: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=716799&messageID=2239187#M2239187.
Finally, on the voting page, when assessing someone's contribution I like to look up the profile in my database. When I copy the UPC 000000-000000 and paste it, the database does not recognize it unless I remove the dash > 000000000000. I want the program to accept copy and paste without this additional step. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

| Posted: | | | | While I don't believe Ken will go there... I believe the best solution for name parsing is a single name field. | | | Pete |
