Hi all...

the title says it all... it's impossible to do any sort of meaningfull search on this forum... I've tried boolean, using AND, using + and -... nothing works.. I keep getting way too many and broad results...

Am I doing something wrong? Or is the search engine just... weak?

thanks

You could always use Google site search.

Just prefix your search string with "site:www.invelos.com" (without the quotes)

I always liked this search; granted, you probably won't get what you were looking for, but the great old threads you discover...

Nope, not that long. You remember the very old board (dark colors)? That one actually had quite a decent search feature, even searchable by users's posts...

thanks for the tip

it's amazing... you can be an "advanced" internet user and still learn the most basic things....

Also, I'm new at the forum.. I've had the 2.4 free version of dvd profiler for many years, and I just moved to 3.0 paid. I'm so happy with it (plus php.. amazing program).. so I'm only now getting to interact here..
