When I open the HTML Window editor, none of the buttons that are supposed to appear on the bottom do, so I have no way to save, and worse, I have to Use the task manager to force DVD Profiler to close just to exit.

Any idea why the buttons are missing?

And could those functions be replicated as menu items in case there's no fix for the missing buttons?

Hmm, I'm wondering if it's your screen size, or if that window doesn't open up correctly, as it looks fine on my system. I'm at 1024x768.

Heh, guess I'm not much of a help. Welcome to my life.

Your screen size is puny compared to mine. I run on 1920x1200.

Try double clicking on the title bar, this causes the window to resize - it might reveal the missing buttons.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work. There's a spot at the bottom of the window where the buttons should be located, but no buttons.

I also made sure I had the latest drivers for my video card.

This is baffling.

Here's my lovely screen cap...reduced in size for your benefit. Laugh all you want...or hit me over the head for being blind if that's the case.

I also have a resolution of 1920x1200 and do not have that problem. (Just pointing out that it is not related to the screen size at all...)

Given the size of the grey area at the bottom, it appears to be that the buttons are not hidden below the task bar, but actually missing! I think it is the same problem "TheJohnDoctor" reported in the Closing HTML Window thread..

Try disabling your firewall/antivirus.

I don't know if you've tried this or not, but have you tried clicking the area the button is meant to be, to see if the action is still possible even if the button is invisible.
I've included a screen grab in case you don't know where the buttons are meant to be.

This should tell us whether the buttons aren't there or aren't showing.

Or try either auto hiding the task bar or get it down to just one bar. It appears from your print that it is two rows tall - perhaps the buttons are buried under.

Also you might try hitting Escape or enter to get off the screen.

I also have this problem, and resizing the window all I want didn't help (on resolutions 1280x1024 and 1680x1050)  ... but Escape and Enter very much gets me back to the db without having to call upon the Windows Task Manager.

I disabled firewall and anti-virus...no difference.

The application was not being covered up by thask bar, because I had the same issue when I made the window smaller by double-clicking on the window header bar.

I have that gray area where the buttons should be as in northbloke's image, but clicking around on the area did not produce any results.

Also, neither ESC or ENTER  work for me.

Fingers crossed you should be able to still close the window using Alt+F4.
Unfortunately this closes the window without saving, so be careful you don't lose any work.
I know it's not a fix, just a workaround, but hopefully it'll at least stop the need to keep using the task manager.
Sorry I can't help any more!

PS I couldn't get Esc or Enter to close the window either, so I don't think that's a related problem.

Try double clicking on the title bar of the screen to restore down the window.

I think he's already tried that Gerri, though thanks!
It does look like the buttons are almost definitely not loading into the window, rather than them simply being hidden from view, though what would cause that is beyond me!
