That IS one of the things you get when you BUY the program. That does NOT mean that hi-res images are available, remember we are user-built, if no one has Contributed hi-res images then obviously you won't get them even if you buy the program. There are some users that will also send out there own personal file images, which in most cases will exceed evevn the Invelos Hi-Res.

It would also be another thing to convince people to upgrade. Ignore Skip. He missed the point. You have obviously bought the program, your icon says as much. The biggest reason I can see for not having High Res pictures online is it would allow outsiders including those who have not paid the ability to simply copy and paste the images to their collection. If anything it would be a reason NOT to upgrade, since you could simply view someone's premium collection and grab their pictures for your collection. |

But it could be one of the features that becomes disabled after you add 50 profiles without a premium registration. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

It would also be another thing to convince people to upgrade. Don't ask me how, but other people have suggested this for other reasons: You could always host your own collection online (I believe phpdvdprofiler is the name of a program that would help you do this), and then you can host your own hi-res images - I think! Usual disclaimers apply |

Sorry not clear about this - which feature do you mean would be disabled? The ability to store high res pictures in the database? | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |

The problem Rick was pointing out is not referring to the ability to display one's own high-tes images online The problem is, that all of us who could display them... The non-premium users could get the high res images for their local collections from there. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | The other reason you do NOT want to have hi-res in the online profile.... Bandwidth Cost I think that the previous incarnation of the software and this new version are greatr products - and to be honest, it is unfair to have extra bandwidth used just for the online profiles.... Mind you, it could be an option... if you pay for "Online DVD Profiler PLUS" (Sorry Ken, hope you wasn't going to use that name - if you are/were please feel free!) Just my "2 cents" worth | | | Signature? We don't need no stinking... hang on, this has been done... blast [oooh now in Widescreen] Ah... well you see.... I thought I'd say something more interesting... but cannot think of anything..... oh well And to those of you who have disabled viewing of these signature files "hello" (or not) Registered: July 27, 2004 |

| Posted: | | | | Again, high resolution images are a feature of the Unlimited Registration.
So, unless we could only see them when logged in and browse other users collection, it would defeat that... But only seeing them under that condition is not really useful, is it...? | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
