Think of this as a companion thread to this one.

Although they don't have a feature per se, Rottentomatoes.com do have a Top 100 list as well. So... how many them do you have in your collection?

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/top/bestofrt_year.php

Me? I'm the proud owner of 41 of them:

1. Toy Story 2
4. The Wizard of Oz
7. The Godfather
8. Rear Window
9. Dr. Strangelove...
13. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
14. Sunset Boulevard
17. Taxi Driver
18. King Kong (original)
19. The Player
20. On the Waterfront
21. Seven Samurai
22. Toy Story
23. Citizen Kane
24. Do the Right Thing
26. Singin' in the Rain
28. The Manchurian Candidate (original)
29. North by Northwest
30. Bull Durham
33. Chinatown
34. The Princess Bride
43. Aliens
44. A Fish Called Wanda
46. The Road Warrior
52. Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
55. The Grapes of Wrath
57. The Adventures of Robin Hood
60. The Maltese Falcon
62. Say Anything
63. The Terminator
64. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
69. The Birds
70. Cool Hand Luke
71. Jaws
72. Night of the Living Dead
73. Risky Business
76. 8 1/2
83. Heathers
84. Rashomon
94. My Life as a Dog
100. Fantasia

Although... that list is a little odd, in that every single movie on it has received a tomato rating of 100%. The order was simply decided by the number of reviews of each movie they have in their database.

I have 43. There are some on that list that I would never own. An interesting list though.

Hmmm... That's an odd little list. (My Life as a Dog? Lasse Hallstrom's amusing, low-key coming of age thingie? In a Best Of list? That's a first.)

But anyway, I only own 12... but most of them are on my wish list.

7. The Godfather
32. Airplane!
33. Chinatown
40. The Crying Game
43. Aliens
49. Laura
58. Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn
61. Roman Holiday
64. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
71. Jaws
80. The Evil Dead
91. Halloween
100. Fantasia
Funny, these cookies don't taste anything like Girl Scouts.

Snap!

Wouldn't it be really weird if they were the same?  I was surprised by a lot though. Heathers, for instance?

Three:

4.  The Wizard of Oz
18.  King Kong
34.  The Princess Bride

A lot of movies that make these sort of lists simply don't appeal to me, and many films I adore don't have an ice cube's chance in Hell of ever making such a list.  It's amusing to search, but I certainly never get upset to see how many/few I have on any "Top" list.

Six! That's all I can master...

Somehow, I hope I'll do worse in the other one (the worst), but I've got a bad feeling...
