and then you should get hold of the complete Jeremy Brett series from Granada. Superb stuff

Totally agree... though make sure you get the re-releases, collected together in seasons, from Granada Ventures, not the original Cinema Club ones. They underwent a significant cleanup and restoration between the two.

... unless you are buying the Cinema Club ones I'm putting on Ebay

One of my favorite writers is Neil Gaiman. His novel “Stardust” has been made into a movie coming soon to a theater near you! http://www.neilgaiman.com/

Never heard of Gaiman, or his book.  But, I've seen a trailer for it several times on the tube, and Michelle Pfeiffer is in it, and looks as hot as I've ever seen her.  That alone is worth the price of admission.

If you ever get a chance, take a look at the Graphic novel of Stardust by Gaiman & Charles Vess. Vess;s art brings the world of Stardust so clear that I believe no matter how great the movie is, you will appreciate the Graphic Novel more.

One other though on the Stardust movie...

Any movie where we get to see Robert Deniro in a skirt can't be all bad, and worth the $9.00 just for that!
