I've seen many of these titles being released lately and was looking for a way to use existing data
from the films included in these multiple feature packages to aid in the submission of these titles.
I haven't searched the forums for a way to do this but one may exist but i have taken the time to
write a tutorial to aid myself in the future when adding these titles and also to anyone else whom may
want to submit one.

My tutorials link ( removed )

You can view this title (  The Towering Inferno/Volcano Double Feature 2-DVD Set  ) and vote on it to see what i'm trying to convey. Using the divider seems to me the only way to add this information as you would for a tv series.

Phoenix:

What is the physical configuration of the set. I doubt seriously that it would be a single disc with three features on one side.

Yes your correct i have miss spoke, if that's possible via the net.  Oddly each film is on it's own disc. However i have submitted them correctly in my profile.

P.S. I have changed that comment, thanks for pointing that out

I understand that you've gone to a lot of trouble to devise this tutorial, but unfortunately, it clashes with the way the contribution rules tell us to handle box sets. Check out the link Skip provided: each film gets its own profile, entered using the disc ID. Per the rules, no cast and crew data gets entered into the parent profile, so using dividers certainly isn't needed (or even allowed). Of course you can handle these sets using dividers if you want to locally, but for contribution purposes, the contribution rules should be followed.

That's what i was looking for was opinions. I'll just continue to use them locally and it seems as it's the easiest way to accomplish it. The time spent making the tutorial was wasted as i have a poor memory lately and need to refer back to it from time to time.

good night all.

I have contributed three profiles lately just like this with 3 films on one disc i just did them like a TV series using dividers to separate the credits.

Read the Rules ninehours, they are Boxsets. You did it WRONG

"
"Box Sets" Containing More Than One Film

The term "Box Set" is used to define any release that includes more than one film. The main examples are:

    * Sets where each film is packaged individually, and held together in a package of some kind.
    * Sets where each film is on a separate disc, but not individually packaged. This includes gatefold Digipaks and 2-Disc sets in normal DVD cases.
    * Sets containing 2 films, one on each side of Dual-Sided DVD."

Pinned: Manual Profiles Available to Share

That's the situation i was in with alot of my Double and Tripple Profiles and I was Kindly reminded that it was a rules violation. I'm glad that others feel there is a use for personalized profiles. The studios change things from time to time and so does the communitys needs. Anyone interested in the manual profiles topic that Ken just made a sticky feel free to browse my method of simplifying the adding credits to these unique Double & Tripple Feature titles that are seen so often now.
