I have just contributed corrective changes to two Finnish releases where existing profiles have currently both Title and Overview in English, while these releases clearly have both in Finnish. The original titles for these profiles are...

"Harvard Man" (UPC: 6-415018-617364)
"History is Made at Night" (UPC: 6-415018-614653)

If you check out these releases with UPCs above, you can clearly see that the titles and overviews are not in English. Guess who is again voting against these corrections with full knowledge that he's voting against rules...

Finnish users, who have these in their collection, please vote Yes for these changes so that this idiot can't at least ruin these two proflies again.

I also rated him negative at his vote comments - expecting some retaliation votes soon in return...

If he votes no, he has to give a reason - so, you can give him a negative vote for that, right? He doesn't have to keep it up long before he gets banned from voting...

I know you probably want him banned right now, but I'm not sure Ken will do this...

Yes, his reasons are always, well... right to the point: "wrong title", "wrong overview" when of course neither of them are wrong... I haven't been contributing just about anything for maybe a year, and then just when I return to that activity, there is this same guy sabotaging profiles as if he had never been banned at all... Last year he disappeared for a while when many of us contacted Ken and, I suppose, he got his voting rights suspended for a period of time.

I have no idea if it has been like this all the time, also when I didn't contribute or vote on anything. Shame if it has... I thought this vermin had been taken care of by now.

Yes, I've seen him try to mess up a couple recently (covers that were clearly an improvement AND actually corrected the rear cover version in the database) but the Screeners seemed to know the name and ignored the No (especially in the face of a few Yes votes with reasons).

To be fair I've also seen him put in some good updates and vote Yes on a few titles I know he's voted incorrectly on in the past (when I've done updates to them!) so maybe he's learning slowly...

You could write a nice lettre to Gerri she might not have followed the issue about this saboteur, should be shot on site like some other Online Db saboteurs. You might ask her to ignore this fellow.

Draxen, he has voted No on many of my contributions. In my experience hes No vote holds no weight to the screeners, so even if you get no Yes votes, it probably still goes thorough. I pretty much just ignore him, with the current state of the contributions/screenings you dont have to worry about him anymore

Tryed that, every No-vote i gave him have been removed by Invelos. So thats not going to happen. But on the contrary every No vote he gives are removed too, so thats good.

Also on PMing Gerri/Ken, i wouldnt do that, UNLESS your contribution is declined. Would just waist their time.

It has been going like this for as long as i can remember. Though it got a lot better after the IVS -> Invelos change. But he still breaks the rules, but like Voltaire53 said on Invelos some of hes contributions / votings have been good, too.

I've found that most non-sensical no-votes by such users are ignored by the screeners these days. When in doubt, you can always edit your contribution notes addressing the reason that was cited for voting "no". That'll give the screeners both sides of the story on their evaluation screen, and it will help them to make the right decision.

Thats my experience too. He's there but his idiotic votes goes to screeners /dev/null.... Don't worry about him, just keep contributing

Thanks to everyone for the responses, and supportive votes on the contributions in question - nice to read that the voting system and screening has been improved like this. Just have to be alert on the contributions, as always, in case he tries to start a ping pong match over profiles we have been able to correct.
