Before giving my vote on Swedish release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (EAN 7-391772-398154) I made my own audit on the title. I noticed that the actor playing the role of "Zev (Rogue 2)" is actually credited as Christopher Malcom (not Malcolm). I checked the Credit Lookup Tool and Christopher Malcom is credited in only two profiles (both are Empire Strikes Back).

The same error is in both the newer Special Edition and in the Theatrical Version. And is this the same Chris Malcolm who appeared in Superman III?

After some more internet digging I luckily found that this Christopher Malcolm has his official web site (http://www.christophermalcolm.co.uk) and his biography says that he really is the actor in Empire Strikes Back and Superman and also in Higlander along some other productions on film and television.

I believe this is a right place to use the credited as feature: Christopher Malcolm credited Christopher Malcom.

Ummm why, Jykke. If I understand you correctly the data in the database does not match the actual On Screen data, probably someone got distracted and forgot to type in a first name. All that needs to be done is correct the data so that it matches the screen credit. If that is done then I see no need for usage of Credited As. The only possibel usage might be in the Superman III entry, it would seem.

Try reading Jykke's post again.
Christopher Malcolm has been credited as Christopher Malcom in Empire Strikes Back.
As Christopher Malcolm is his most commonly credited name it's an ideal situation for using "credited as".
Thanks for the heads up Jykke - I'm going to check my copy anon.

I've just checked Superman III and he is definitely in that one too as Chris Malcolm. I can't do screen grabs at the moment, but there's a clear face shot at 1:56:45.

Found another one in Empire Strikes Back - Denis Lawson has been misspelled as Dennis Lawson.

That one's old news on the region 1.  At least I had it on my profile.  I can't imagine that I caught it by myself.

Well there are 54 profiles that have Dennis, so I thought it worth mentioning...

Let me save those 54 profiles some research time.  Here's what i submitted when i fixed Lawson's name for my profile:

Quote:
Lawson: Spells it 'Denis' (http://www.holby.tv/db/index.php?id=40,22,0,0,1,0).  Even official starwars.com (http://www.starwars.com/bio/denislawson.html) spells it that way and notes here the misspelling (http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/wedgeantilles/?id=bts).  Credited As.

If we are, you can only blame the source region - the first 5 profiles are US or Canada...
