I took the idea from the "How many children do you have" poll.

2 cats.  And an aquarium with 11 fish and an unknown number of freshwater snails.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

2 dogs.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

A cat, a dog... and a chameleon!

I did have sheep until November, but we had to move her due to 'lack of space'

She is now happily munching away on 4 acres of grassland with 6 other sheep in Scotland.

My wife is a huge cat person and also fosters them as needed (I'll give you a green arrow from her )

Last week we went from 7 cats back down to 4.  We had a big snow storm over the Christmas holidays and our son and a neighbor boy found 3 abandoned kittens in the snow.  They were about 2-3 weeks old.  So we took them in, bottle fed them and took care of all the rest of the necessary training to get them ready for new owners.  And over the weekend they all went to new homes.

4 cats, 1 dog.
We are one pet over our cities ordinance, but as the cat in my Avatar (Tigger) has kidney disease & we do not know how much time he has left so we do not try to register him.

So have I...which is a bit of a problem * , as we have four cats.......two Burmese - Suzy Wong (F chocolate tortie) & Zebedee (M red), and two Siamese - Sukie (F seal point) and Sasha (M seal point)....

* I should add that's it's problem for me....not for the kittehs.......I am frequently instructed/reminded (by Madame and Mesdemoiselles Mole) as to my standing in the Household Order! **

** i.e. slightly below the tropical fish!
