| Posted: | | | | No matter which settings I choose for my online collection about what has to be shown in public listings, I always get
Owned Ordered Wishlist
and NO
Adult titles
This last thing is very annoying because my adult titles are not porn movies, but stuff like Aliens, American Gangster and many others.
Is this a known issue? Is it going to be done something about it? |

| Posted: | | | | If I get Gianvacca correctly, he's looking for a tab named "Adult Titles".
There's none! The settings for "Adult Titles" only change the visibility of 18+ titles in your Online-collection.
If I got you wrong DJ Doena had the correct solution. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

If I don't select ordered and wishlist, they should not appear online, instead they do. If I select Adult Titles under Show In Public Listing, my Adult titles must be shown among my owned titles. This is what was happening before, this is not happening now. I can get the Adult Titles only if I tick them under Show in private listings, but this is wrong, because I want them public. Is this something that only affects my online collection or is it a general behaviour? If the latter, is it wanted or is it a bug? |

If you do not allow Adult to be shown online it also affects the 'highest' level of regular rating ie. NC-17 in the US, 18 in the UK so those title are also not shown. If you have some real Adult (porn) titles but you don't want to show them online the only way is to put them in a separate collection (which means you can't vote on them because they won't be in your online) or (as you've discovered) also not show any '18' rated titles. I have asked Ken why this is and the answer he gave was connected with some local state laws about what is shown online... which personally I don't think makes sense as surely those laws would be all about NOT showing real Adult/porn titles rather than forcing you to put them up there so you could also show Taxi Driver et al. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Is this something that only affects my online collection or is it a general behaviour? If the latter, is it wanted or is it a bug? I've just checked two of the titles you listed above and they both show in your online public listing & the Ordered and Wishlist Tab do not show. So it seems that you've correctly configured it now. You need the Show in Private Listing box checked for when you view it when logged in to your account through the website. Everyone else is controlled by the first option. |

Always check your collectionlist with a second browser and make sure that your are neither logged in into the Forums nor that there is anything in the cache. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

I hadn't got right the purpose of the those tick boxes. |

| Posted: | | | | If I remember correctly, the next programme version will include the option to choose individually which titles you want to be displayed in your online public listing. |

No offense to Ken, but it's the stupidest thing I've ever read A cover and a title sure are the most offensive materials that we can find on the web... Theres a marge between a cover picture (who will be crappy anyway since DVDP online is useless in this departement) and a complete video of a woman doing it with a dog (something that you can find in 3 seconds on the web) At least I can post whatever I want in my online collection and don't care about the "thing about the children" mindless crowd |
