Thank you, Ken.

I hadn't been actively reading Profiler threads for a couple of weeks but in the time I was away, things really seemed to have gone to Heck.  I've been spending a lot of time in another, non-DVD related site for a while which is heavily moderated -- and they don't tolerate much abuse at all.  Maybe it's just my imagination (or the grass always being greener...) but the atmosphere at that other site seems much more friendly and cordial than this one has been of late.

I know updating the forum rules wasn't something you wanted to have to do, but I hope they will be enforced uniformly for everyone who posts here.  The revised rules should help considerably.

Wow, two in one day.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I guess this means the "Moderation Trial" has ended?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I'm surprised to still find this in the new forum rules:

"Religious or political discussion specifically should be kept within the general discussion areas."

Aren't we supposed to refrain from political discussions any longer?

Only if we keep the conversation polite and to the point within the first two pages .... Not !!

Am I the only one who's disappointed? Rules were never the problem. Problem is that users doesn't see that Invelos is actually implementing the actions that are mentioned in rules. Can we now on see who is banned and why? I see the rules update only as a  way to make it look like Invelos is doing something when in fact nothing has been done.
