The retardedness of this thread is the very reason why I use IMDB for my cast and crew and keep it all local. The very idea you have to debate common sense to one person is recockulous.

It's an acting credit, plain and simple and I would vote yes on it every day of the week. And I (and everyone else that would vote yes) would be right.

Scott, Gunnar and james:

I follow the Rules and they are clear what is meant by both standard and non-standard credits. As I said an accommodation was created specifically for these kind of Roles because soemtimes Hollywood does interject Stunt people in the middle of a cast list, which is the case here.

Specifically at James, the Rules do not provide for YOUR "quite capable of discerning". If you are going to corrupt the rules with your discernment then all bets are off and anything is possible. You either follow the rules or you don't. i will add that, based on many of your votes, you continue to NOT dfollow the Rules, my friend, that has not changed in FIVE years. You follow your own preference and what the Rules asy is completely an utterly irrelevant to you, if you discern it to be then it is OK with you.

You are free to do as you describe and welcome to it. Your version of what you believe to be common sense does not match mine. I KNOW how to read the Rules. Do you?

In this case, no, you don't know how to read the rules. Everyone knows it but you, sunshine.

This is all so lame. To bad Invelos don't care about all the hard working people that helped in putting these films together. I would say if we are lucky we might get 10% of the crew info. If they are credited they are important to the making of the film. But the rules say we must keep them out.. Oh ya we can keep them local so DVDP is not a program for users who don't have the time to scan covers, and input all the data for their own use. To make it simple DVDP is a very limited data base for the online, but if you got the time it's great for your own local database.

But thankfully it matches everyone elses sweetcheeks.

And everyone knows how to read the rules. It's just open to interpretation.

Your original argument was that Jenna Lamia was not cast. Now apparently you say that she is. Did the rules change in the meantime...?

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on which side you are on, Gerri has given us an out in these situations.  Even if we decide that stunt people are part of the cast list, which they are in this case, we don't have to enter them.  They can be entered, and if they are they can't be removed, but it isn't required to enter every person in the cast list.

See here.

We will teach it to them again.

I have always said the same thing. The online is built with rules that were made much more to please contributors than the final users who can only download useless data.

The program is great (I should give a 9/10), allows a quite perfect local database (just a problem with asian names), but the online database (2/10 ?) is undeserving of this great program.

If it were just stunt people, I'd say enter them, but the stunt coordinator is definitely not cast.

Hmm, we include voice credits, so I would also include this one. And would not make a difference just because it is written a bit separated. (Couldn't find something that speaks against this)

About the stunt people, I don't know. There was sure a thread in which including them in the credits is discussed, but I don't know this thread or decision that was made.
