The rule is pretty clear to me.  The cast isn't all listed in the same place (crew intervening) so it's nonstandard.  So enter the cast in the order they appear.  Boom, done.

To make it simple DVDP is a very limited data base for the online, but if you got the time it's great for your own local database.

I have always said the same thing. The online is built with rules that were made much more to please contributors than the final users who can only download useless data.

The program is great (I should give a 9/10), allows a quite perfect local database (just a problem with asian names), but the online database (2/10 ?) is undeserving of this great program.

If it were just stunt people, I'd say enter them, but the stunt coordinator is definitely not cast.

How do YOU know, ace. Did you work on the film. Base on the way it is setup you are wrong AGAIN. Forum Moderator: Removed

Hmm, we include voice credits, so I would also include this one. And would not make a difference just because it is written a bit separated. (Couldn't find something that speaks against this)

About the stunt people, I don't know. There was sure a thread in which including them in the credits is discussed, but I don't know this thread or decision that was made.

According to the Rules Voices that are separated from the Cast are not Cast. All you have to do is have the simple ability of reading comprehension, which is sorely lacking here.

You are free to do as you describe and welcome to it. Your version of what you believe to be common sense does not match mine. I KNOW how to read the Rules. Do you?

But thankfully it matches everyone elses sweetcheeks.

And everyone knows how to read the rules. It's just open to interpretation.

Well, Sam, you have summed up in one little post why America revolted from England. There is no intelligent life there, limey.

Last time I checked, Americans didn't revolt against England over DVD Profiler rules. Man, where the hell did you go to school?

I'm still waiting for someone to admit that a poorly placed voice credit will cause them confusion as to whether to add the gaffers as cast.

Midnit:

What you really mean by poorly placed; is that YOU think you can determine what is or is not Cast despite what the rules say and despite what the filmmakers indicate. The problem isn't cobfusion, my friendm it IS about people blatantly ignoring the Rules and using their own powers of discernment to create the answer OUTSIDE of the Rules. Tell me where you all buy your crystal balls, I don't want to buy from there, yours are ALL broken, none of you are filmmakers and have no powers to see anything beyond the screen data.

There are two possibilities both of which, frankly, are stupid. I like the Jenna credit and will spin and twist the rules to suit me. Or as has been done before in other instances, I don't like the Stunt data, I don't think Stunt people are actors despite the actual data and i will spin that data in an effort to exclude it. We have seen THAT before.

Scott:

Forum Moderator: Removed You apparently don't comprehend the Additional Voices argument which i did not bring up here and won't go through it again, except again to say that it is users ignoring the rules. Voices sometimes appear widely separated from Cast, that si they are NOT listed TOGETHER as the Rules require, yet people believe that they are and IGNORE the Rules.

Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on which side you are on, Gerri has given us an out in these situations.  Even if we decide that stunt people are part of the cast list, which they are in this case, we don't have to enter them.  They can be entered, and if they are they can't be removed, but it isn't required to enter every person in the cast list.

See here.

OK, Martian. I'll buy that and we just might put it to the test. I will report back, if I do, on just how many people follow the Rules.

The Rules don't require that cast all be listed together, it's just that if they're not listed together in the end credits they are not Standard Credits.  Therefore we are into the non-standard credits part of the Rules, which allows for credits where the cast may be seperated by other information.

I've seen credits (e.g. Around the World in 80 Days) where the cast and crew were intermixed throughout the closing credits.
