| Posted: | | | | Right now I can't find Universal Soldier: The Return. I don't lend out DVDs and I had it months ago. But right now it's not on any of the shelves and I can't find it anywhere. It's driving me nuts trying to figure out where it went.
So has anyone misplaces a DVD? Or worst lost one? |

| Posted: | | | | It happens from time to time that I can't find a specific dvd in my shelves. I'm re- sorting my collection very often to optimize the place in the shelves. The most scariest part is when I find an empty case... | | | Thorsten |

I must have simply overlooked it a few times though, since I finally located it on the shelf. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I have lost the movie disc (still have the bonus features disc) of the Rocky Horror Picture Show 25th Anniversary Edition. Not sure how it escaped, but somehow it pulled the disappearance trick | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

I suppose I might have lost quite a few - I wouldn't know until I looked for them (!) but as far as i know I've only lost/misplaced one, and that was a month or so ago. I was taking all my Doctor Who classic series releases and putting them into new separate shelving, that will take the whole of the releasable range, and couldn't find Attack of the Cybermen. I wasn't worried at the time as I knew that one was in my travel bag as I was due to listen to the commentary on it next in order but when a little while later I noticed it wasn't there either it became clear it had got lost somehow... I still think it's around the house somewhere as I don't think I'd have left it in a hotel room as I'm always careful before checkout and I'm thinking maybe I removed it from the travel bag intending to put it on the new shelf and put it down somewhere mid-transit... My greatest fear about the loss is that, if it really has got left somewhere, since it was in a bag with other DVDs am I going to find out later I've got a few more missing ... so far though I haven't spotted any gone that I was carrying around with me so fingers crossed that's good news for the Cyberman disc turning up sometime! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | It has happened to me on a few occasions. But I have been lucky enough to always find them. I guess this happens easily when you have a kid. | | | Pete |

A co-worker of mine recently discovered several of his "missing" DVDs lying scattered about his teenage stepson's bedroom in varying states of disrepair (scratched, broken, lying on the floor out of the box, etc.). He was not a happy man. --------------- |

| Posted: | | | | Just lost one yesterday, thankfully like 99.9% of my losses, it was sitting theer on the shelf, just the wrong place on the wrong shelf. So far I've only lost my Highlander Imoortal Edition. Lent it to a work bud who misplaced it and years later still hasn't found it. Although it feels like at least a dozen dvds grow feet and walk off a year, they don't walk far and are usually found within a week or less. |

| Posted: | | | | I thought that I had misplaced one just this past week. In fact it was at the very bottom of a stack that I had looked at 5 times. Somehow I read every title but didn't notice there was one more DVD. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| Posted: | | | | I've done that before too. I had one DVD set for a tv show that I forgot where I put soon after I got it. I was sure I had put it in one place, but it wasn't there. I looked all around and was convinced it had accidentally fallen into a trash can that sits in that area. I finally found it in a completely different place, long after I was convinced it was gone. | | | |
