So I'm working on a title and in the cast came across this one:

Sanchez (Taco Truck Guy)  --  Giorgio Serafini (cameo)

Do I even list cameo or just ignore it? He's credited in the midst of other actors (Serafini is the director of the movie).

I would list the cameo. I see no reason to leave it out. He was in the movie.

Not asking whether to include him, asking if I should include the word "cameo" with the credit.

If that's whats shown for his role in the credits, then yes include it.

Rules state:
Quote:
For any film with standard credits, take the actor information from the end credits only, with names and roles listed exactly as they are in the credits and in exactly the same order credited

I take it that cameo is attached to the actors name?

You'll likely need to use his common name and credited as for the cameo credit.

Correct, just as I printed. Just strange as I've never seen it before.

I've seen it in Chinese films, sometimes with a header of Cameo and a list of actors following it.

As (Cameo) is not part of his name, I think it would be safe to leave it out...but that's just me.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Yeah, ultimately I submitted and left it out. It's just an odd credit.

Shouldn't "Cameo" be written in the role field, as "Taco Truck Guy" is for "Sanchez"?

No, if any:

Role: Sanchez (Taco Truck Guy)
Credit: Giorgio Serafini
Credited As: Giorgio Serafini (cameo)

Ok, now I get it.
I thought this were two credits for two different persons, side by side... my fault.

Ok, so I misunderstood as well. I also this were 2 credits.
So in this case, I'd use DJ Doena's suggestion.

"cameo" is not intended to be part of the name.
