| Posted: | | | | Production Executives are not a valid role we track. |

| Posted: | | | | Hello all... This discussion has me interested in asking some additional questions that may apply to other profiles.
1. I have seen this type of credit before in other series. How would "Production Executives" be different than Executive Producers?
2. If Bill Nye actually appears on-screen in the series, could he be casted as Name: Bill Nye Role: Video Scientist ?
Thanks for your responses! | | | Last edited: by perryoakridge |

| Posted: | | | | Regarding your first question I think this is quite helpful: linkAlso, I think Bill Nye could get a cast credit if he appears on-screen as a Video Scientist, but it is very unusual to put a single cast credit between crew credits. On the other side he's credited for 2 roles. Maybe one cast & one crew role? | | | Think different
Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. |

I think this explanation also helps me understand why we don't track the credit for "Executive in Charge of Production" in DVDP. Thanks for this linked explanation, ninso4. |

On the other side he's credited for 2 roles. Maybe one cast & one crew role? I think that's exactly what's happening. He's in the cast as the Video Scientist, and in the crew as Technical Advisor. So he gets a DVDP cast credit as Video Scientist, but no crew credit. It would be ridiculous to add him to cast as Uncredited, since he does have a credit, even though it's formatted in an unusual way. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |
