Scripts were sourced from the original American show "Who's the Boss?" to film the British version "The Upper Hand." Consequently, the writers credited on The Upper Hand are the original writers of the original script.

Credited directly after these writer credits is a credit for "Script Associate". For example, Greg Freeman. Presumably the person who had to 'localise' the script for the UK.

In this case, should we include these credits for Script Associate?

I might decide to add Mr. Freeman locally, using the custom "Other" entries in the crew section. Those are automatically excluded from contributions, and are therefore ideal for credits that I happen to feel are worth tracking, but that don't actually qualify for entry into the online database. Personally, I use "Other" *a lot*...

Sounds like localization would just work as "developed by" to me honestly. I would not contest that.

I believe it's more akin to Script Editor in this case.

I really don't understand why we don't have a credit for script editor.  Not for film credits, but for TV credits I'd say it was just as important as role as the actual writer.

In this instance, though, I don't think the credit counts.
