Regarding the Region 1 DVD release of the first three seasons of Warehouse 13, the first 2 seasons have Science Fiction, Adventure and Action as the genres.

Season 3 has Science Fiction, Drama and Television.

I think that Television should always be included for any tv series, and Science Fiction is also a clear choice.

So what should the third genre be, Adventure, Action or Drama?

Personally I'm leaning towards Adventure.

Since the rules state "Do not make contributions that only change or re-order Genres, unless the existing Genre list is blatantly incorrect. ", well not including the Television genre for A TV series is incorrect, but it would be nice to get an agreement what the 2 other genres, in addition to the Television genre, should be.

I would personally go with Television, Sci-Fi & Drama... like season 3 already has.

But to be honest... I gotten to the point that I don't even bother trying to change the online genres... I jut change it locally and lock mine. I found it to not be worth the headaches trying to get everyone to agree.

As pete said - I would correct anything just in my own collection and wouldn't dream of submitting a genre change to the main list.

Personally I think that if there's a cut list, Drame should be the one getting the axe. Drama as a genre is pretty non-descriptive because every movie that's not pure comedy (and even then!) is bound to have some drama in it.

This is how I do it: Drama is used when it's a major focus of the movie, let's say Kramer vs. Kramer, not when there's a sad scene in it.

I don't see drama as strictly sad scenes. It is more then that. I only seen a handful of episodes of this series. And going by that it seems to fit a lot better then either action or adventure.

But as I said... either way. I would probably just do it the way I said and lock it down locally. Don't normally change genres online.

I put would put it down as Science-Fiction and Television and leave it at that.

I would personally only use Drama where the film/series is purely drama.

Neither is "classic". But unfortunately the TV genre is the only way to keep movies and TV shows apart.

Tags. I'd remove Animation, Classic and Television from my database if I could be arsed.

At least with television and animation, it is obvious which ones fall into the category, but who decides what is a 'classic'?

And that's why so many people lock their genres.  Having seen more than a few, I couldn't imagine Drama over Action or Adventure.  Given the choice, I'd pick Adventure.  But that's just me.
