As far as I know you can't remove the Collection Numbers from all profiles at the same time. You'd have to use the Bulk Edit Plugin to do that. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection | | | Last edited: August 21, 2011 6:00 PM by Bad Father |

No, not really. It will use the sort title for renumbering. And yes, thankfully DJ Doena is correct. My new numbers are sweet, 007s are first, LINK Thanks a lot guys, I am really digging DVD Profiler, too bad it took me dang near a year to try it out. | | | Blu-ray collection order; Music>Musicals>Documentaries>TV shows>Criterions>Movies |

What I want to know is this, where are they getting the keyboard that types this ... Æ ? | | | Blu-ray collection order; Music>Musicals>Documentaries>TV shows>Criterions>Movies | | | Last edited: August 21, 2011 9:23 PM by jamestech |

| Posted: August 21, 2011 10:07 PM | | | | And I am almost embarrassed to admit this but if getting the collection numbers to coincide with the alphabetical order was just not possible I may have erased my entire collection and reentered them in alphabetical order, athough the fact that id have to erase and re-enter my entire collection every so often to enter new DVDs would likely have kept me away from this. | | | Blu-ray collection order; Music>Musicals>Documentaries>TV shows>Criterions>Movies |

You mean your keyboard doesn't have the Æ key? But seriously, I believe you can get that character with a keyboard shortcut...for me it's supposed to be Ctrl+&,Shift+A but it doesn't work for me. You can also get it into the profile by copying & pasting it from a program like Word (after inserting the symbol for it into a blank document), which is what I sometimes wind up doing when I can't remember the shortcut keys. | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection |

| Posted: August 21, 2011 10:18 PM | | | | Oh, one more thats kinda OT..........someone show me a collection that makes my ~500 collection look tiny? I know there are blu-ray/DVD collections out there that are in the 10,000 range.
And one more.....is there any way to see the number of movies you have if you did not set up the "child profiles" or whatever it is they call it? Where are they getting that name from? I just counted all my sets, Matrix, Spider-man etc as one. | | | Blu-ray collection order; Music>Musicals>Documentaries>TV shows>Criterions>Movies |

| Posted: August 21, 2011 10:26 PM | | | | If you don't want to have child profiles, you can still use the Count As feature (under Personalize CTRL-P) and set it to 3 for the Spider-Man trilogy. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

You can enter the character Æ using Windows Character Map or manually with Ctrl+Shift+&, a or A or AltGr+A You can also use the ancient Hold-Left-ALT type-character-code-on-numeric-keypad Release-Left-ALT trick to enter pretty much any "weird" character. You get Æ with Hold-ALT 1 4 6 Release-ALT. For more information, look at e.g. Wikipedia Alt code article. |
