| Posted: | | | | Most releases of TV-series have an Episode Access menu, but only few of these have a true Scene Access menu as well. Should we tick the box under Features for Scene Access when it's only Episode Access? |

| Posted: | | | | Only check when there is a menu option for scenes within the episode. Episode selection is a totally different thing. | | | Pete |

I copied and pasted "Features: removed Scene Access, there is none (only episode selection)." when I used to care about the database. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | Isn't episode access pretty much given for a TV show on DVD? I've never seen one without it. So checking scene access for episodes would be meaningless. So - agreed. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

So - agreed. I think there are a couple of TV seasons without Episode Access (and boy was the decision to do this unpopular) but it is so rare I fully agree with the above that Scene Access should only be ticked for when access is possible to scenes within the episodes. For anyone finding a TV series without Episode access I'd almost suggest putting it under other features as a 'lack of expected feature', but I'm not sure this would follow the Rules! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

I wouldn't... I attempted to do similar for releases that has a play all feature for TV Series. Which in my mind is a feature that would be welcome in Other Features... and it wasn't popular... Thread about it.So something like you are talking about... a lack of something on the disc... that is definitely not a feature so wouldn't be welcome in Other Features. | | | Pete |
